Susan Livingston with Outside Seattle joined us today to talk about tourism and how Eastside Communities are banding together to promote their own tourism. We also had 3 special guests – Susan’s two daughters, Jane and Claire and my 9 year old daughter, Gia. They shared what they loved about their home and what they were Thankful for. It was a fun and special time for all of us!!

Had an awesome conversation with Tim Anderson about what is going on in the field at Occupy Seattle. According to Tim, he is seeing the group naturally split between violent and non-violent factions within the occupy movement. As a student of organizational systems, I was facinated with Tim’s account of how this started for him and the next steps. This is an incredible opportunity for people to get engaged in the conversation and call to action. I will be having Tim on again as well as more folks from the ground and the movement to talk about how this change is playing out.
